I have been attending the Women of Purpose fellowship for years. I have been a member of a church for most of my life and have gone to many church functions, fellowships, or whatever the in and new terminology is currently. I continue to attend this fellowship because it is like no other fellowship that I have experienced.

How would you describe the WOP Fellowship?
The Women of Purpose Fellowship is for all women (age 18 and over) from various backgrounds, races, cultures, and denominations. The fellowships are an opportunity for women to meet other women, to make new friends, reconnect with old friends, and just have an all-around fun time of fellowshipping with one another as we pray, praise, and worship the Lord together. We are ministered to by the word of God through the guest speaker. We are fed spiritually (by the word of God) and naturally (by the food that is served).
How long have you been hosting the Women of Purpose Fellowship?
Believers’ Ministries has been hosting the Women of Purpose (WOP) fellowships on a quarterly basis since July 24, 2009.
Why did you start the WOP Fellowship?
My vision is to see women from all walks of life have the opportunity to come together to connect and fellowship with one another to ensure they are maturing in their faith and growing as women of God.
How do you measure success for the WOP fellowship?
Success can only be defined by purpose and measured by obedience. It’s to finish the assignment that God has given to me for the Women of Purpose fellowships- that’s how I measure success.
What is your philosophy regarding the funding of the WOP fellowship?
The funding of the WOP fellowship is solely by free will offerings. God is the source of our total supply. God has called us to do the WOP fellowships, therefore, God will provide everything that we need- the place, people, money, resources, everything that is needed to carry out what He has ordained.

What made you transition from a participant to a volunteer for the WOP fellowship?
I believe, as God has allowed me to grow in Him, also He has allowed me to grow in areas of my life that can be used for His Glory within the fellowships such as allowing me to oversee the kitchen area, cooking for the fellowship, and serving others in whatever area is needed.
Why do you volunteer for the WOP fellowship?
The fellowships are genuine. The joy you see the women experience from being there – it’s all because of God!!! There is not another women’s fellowship that I know of where the women come together to truly worship and praise God, hear His Word, show the Love of Christ to each person they see and meet, along with breaking bread and (sometimes 2nd’s) and still not being ready to leave the building due to the presence of God’s anointing. Who wouldn’t want to be a part of that? And did I mention, NO CHARGE?!
Sidebar: A freewill offering is collected.
How would you describe the WOP fellowship?
Amazing and powerful!

What made you transition from a participant to a volunteer for the WOP fellowship?
I loved everything about the WOP. The fellowship was great. I got to meet new people and bond with other women. This was a fellowship where women could be used by God and so when I was asked to participate, I didn’t have to think about it. It was an immediate yes.
Why do you volunteer for the WOP fellowship?
I volunteer because it’s a way for God to use me to be a blessing in other women’s lives and to allow women to believe that as God can use me then He could use them as well, for God has no respect of person.
How would you describe the WOP fellowship?
It’s fun, relaxing, and it’s a place where we don’t have to be so “churchy” at the same time. We receive the Word of God in a great atmosphere. The fellowship with other women from different churches shows me that we can all come together and be fed spiritually. And oh yea, the natural food that we have for lunch is “yummy.”

My take on the Women of Purpose Fellowship.
I enjoy the fellowship because it allows women (no men or children under 18) regardless of their position in the church (or lack of position in the church) to hang out and have a good time. It doesn’t matter who the speaker is, if you have an offering or not, what you wear (as long as everything is covered appropriately), how you look, etc. (And no, I’m not saying that because the founder of the Women of Purpose fellowship is my mother. ) But don’t take my word for it. Come and check it out for yourself.
