Tell me about your work.

My medium is acrylic on canvas. I work in a lot of layers to develop my bold colors. Thematically, I am focused on pride, diversity, and love. I have a big pride collection which I have been growing over the last couple of years. I am from the Chicago area. I do a lot of architecture and landmark pieces from there. I try to do my art as I live my life. Have fun and be bold, proud, and expressive.

Did you just bring your pride stuff because it is pride month in Columbus, Ohio?

That helps, but no. This is what I do all the time.

Sidebar: I was drawn to the bold use of colors. In attending a few art shows, I haven’t seen the bold and vibrant use of colors in his work.

Sidebar: After going to the information booth and asking which artists were awarded ribbons, a festival representative took me around and introduced me to the winners and one of her personal favorites.
