I hear a little bit of an accent. Where are you from?
I’m from England but, I’m originally from Grenada.
Sidebar: This interview was prior to Mark Felix breaking the Dinnie Stone Hold record. His previous record was 31.36 seconds and he beat it with 31.4 seconds.
Tell me what you won today.
I will be doing the Dinnie Stone Hold. I won the record and I need to beat my record today.

What is your fitness journey?
I am one of the world’s strongest men. I have been to the world’s strongest men 15 times. I have been to the Arnold Sports Festival 6 times. This will make my 7th time. I am here to defend my title in the Dinne Stone Hold.
Do you have a special diet?
I just eat sensibly. I am in it for the long hall. The best thing is to eat sensibly and exercise.
How many days a week do you train and what do you do?
I train five or six days a week. I mix it up. I do volume, heavy training, static, and isolated movements. Anything to keep my fitness and strength up.

Sidebar: The smaller stone weighs 144.47 kg (318.5 pounds) and the larger stone weighs 188.02 kg (414.5 pounds). Quick math, that is a combined weight of 732.9 pounds. This is a huge accomplishment at any age let alone 53. Mark Felix is an example that we are not too old to compete and do the things we love.
