Chalk the Block 2020
Chalk the Block is an event where Artists use chalk to create large works of art while interacting with those who attend the event. I missed the opportunity to see the artists create live. Dang it! I arrived early the second day to take pictures prior to the expected rain.


Why did you participate in Chalk the Block and what does your piece represent?
I love drawing and doodling. This is my first big piece and my first chalk piece. I saw this on Facebook. I wanted to challenge myself. I signed up and they picked me. I drew 50 different options. One of my friends suggested I draw what I like to draw. I figured I would make it into a Columbus piece.
It looks like doodles on the Columbus sky line. Is that correct?
Yes.

I wanted to honor my brothers who are police officers. I did a thin blue line through the Columbus to honor them.
One Sunday morning, I decided to take a break from my Covid-19 quarantine and take a car ride.
