Out of all the things you could be doing with your time, why play basketball?

I do it for my family. My dad is a big basketball guy. So is his dad. My mom, not so much. Seeing them be so proud of me makes me happy. I have grown to love the sport so much. It is what I want to do at the next level as well.

Since your dad is the head coach, how is it at the dinner table?

It can be trying sometimes. He pushes me harder than most of the girls on the team. He does a really good job of separating being a coach and being a dad. He does a pretty good job at that, so I’m glad.

Activities/Hobbies?

I play volleyball and I run track.

What does life after high school basketball look like to you?

I definitely want to go to college. I, for sure, want to go for basketball. If I end up going to a smaller D2 (Division 2) school maybe D3 (Division 3). I could end up playing volleyball and basketball. I do know that I want to play sports for sure.

 I have a 4.5 GPA (Grade Point Average).

Sidebar: Back in the day, the highest GPA was a 4.0.

Now, if you earn a B in an AP (Advanced Placement) class, that counts as an A. If you get an A, it counts as an A++.
