Out of all the things you could be doing with your time, why play basketball?

I have been playing for a while, since I was a kid. I am very competitive. The sport of basketball is very competitive. It is my safe place. It has always been that way since I was little.

Your dad is one of the assistant coaches. They tell me you have an older sister that plays basketball. How are the dinner table conversations? Are you competitive within your family?

It probably is now since she goes to Ohio State, and I am committed to Akron. It is definitely competitive when we come to the gym and work out together. We go at it. She helps me to get better. I helped her to get better. I still look up to her. In certain aspects, she has always pushed me to be my best.

Activities/Hobbies?

I like to hang out with my friends and shop. I like to go thrifting with my sister.

I think we are going to be good this season. I feel like our team chemistry is really good and we complement each other really well. I am excited to see where we go.
