This years highlight for me was the Big local Arts Village. That was the location to see a local band performing live and to view the hands on demonstrations.

Tokyo is my favorite city in the world. I have been twice. In middle America, being able to celebrate eastern culture in this way is amazing. Having a little bit of Japan to come to me in this way is exciting.
This festival is a great opportunity to connect with people around music and dancing.
This took be back down memory lane to the school visits at COSI and Mr. Lewis’ science classes at the Battelle Math Science program! This festival isn’t just for kids, it is for the young at heart!
It is said that most people have a least one book in them. I admire people who have the dedication to publish that one book. Everyone I talked to was excited and passionate to share about their books.
There is a lot to do at the Arnold Sports Festival that is free (on the cheap). I didn’t scratch the surface of what was offered. I felt like there was so much to do with so little time. It is easy to get overwhelmed with all that is offered.
Grip strength is exactly what it sounds like. They make us pick up odd objects with our hands.
I think it is important to do what you love to do for a living. There are not enough people in the art field that show other young artist that they can do this.
I LOVE watching artists create.
It was clear all are dedicated and committed or else they would not have been invited to perform/compete at the Arnold Sports Festival.
I like to lift heavy. People think you are going to get big and bulky when you lift heavy. That is not the case. Lifting also changes you on the inside. If you know you can lift 405 you can do anything.
Today I did my best squat lift thus far, 358 pounds, a 182-pound bench press, and a 420-pound dead lift. That is almost my best. My best dead lift is 425 pounds.
I think this festival is good for families. Besides good food, they have rides and games you can play. If you don’t ride, you can have fun eating or playing games. The parking is close. You can just about stretch your leg out and you are at the festival.
The children seemed to really enjoy petting the animals and jumping in the bounce houses.
I will say this about the African culture. It is good to come together and celebrate who we are, in every form, in every way, with all our talents and be able to express ourselves. Then, we will realize how many other people can relate to us.
Basically, it is plant based. No animals are harmed. If you are Vegan, there are no eggs and no dairy. It is basically fruits.
My work is about the transformation of imagery. I am curious as to what more can there be in an image.
As a blogger, I wanted to interact with a few of the food truck owners to get insight on their claim to fame. As a foodie, I wanted to make sure that when I purchased my lunch I was getting the best of the best.
We just want people to come out and celebrate the heritage of the neighborhood.
This is one of my favorite festivals because they pack a lot in a smaller area.
The parade is what you make it.
I LOVE COMFEST!
Columbus Arts Festival… Art at its finest!
This festival reminds me of all that is great about our culture.
