I talked to Biz participating in “Strictly Letters” at Lookout Supply, 3440 W. Broad Street, Columbus, OH 43204.
Tell me about your artistic expression.
I grew up in New York on Long Island. Me and my friends would get into trouble and spray paint on whatever we could. We didn’t have trains in my neighborhood; so, we painted on warehouses, eighteen wheelers, or whatever we could. I developed from there.

Is this your primary medium?
I do spray paint and acrylic paint. I do tattoos for a living. I have been doing tattoos for about twenty years.

Tell me about this piece.
I don’t plan what I am going to do. I freestyle it. We had to use black, white, and gray. I came out this morning and threw up some shapes; then, I went to work and did some tattoos. I came back and now I am fine tuning it.

You said black, white, and gray but isn’t it black white and gray letters?
Naw, that is only on the inside gallery display. Out here it is black, white, and gray. It could be anything.
Sidebar: I didn’t even go inside. Yikes. That was left for another day.

Is there anything that I didn’t ask you that you think I should have asked you? If so, go ahead and answer that question.
I have a studio over in Franklinton. I host art nights on Sundays and Mondays. Hit me up on Instagram: @iusedtobebizmoto. Everyone is welcome. We chill, listen to records and vibe out.
