Is Chalk your primary medium?

I probably have not used chalk in thirty years. Maybe doing a little hopscotch thing on the ground; but, that was probably the last time I used chalk. Pleasantly, it is not too bad to work with. I kind of like working with it.

What is your primary medium?

I do freehand work with pencils and markers. I do a lot of acrylic paint work on canvas and some graphic design, graphic illustrations.

How did you get involved with Chalk the Block?

Since I moved to Columbus, Ohio, a couple of years ago, as things started opening up from the pandemic, I started immersing myself into the art scene here. I have been taking part in as many art events as I can. This is one of a number of live painting or drawing events that I have been doing. It has been really cool so far. The community has been awesome. It has been great meeting people and getting involved.
