I talked to Artist Susan Deaton at the Easton Art Affair 2019.

Tell me about your work?
I work with ball point pen. I started that through my journaling. I would doodle while writing in my journal. The pictures kept getting bigger and bigger. I gave myself permission to start showing my work. I draw what I feel and what I think. I tell the world what I am about with my drawings.
Tell me about your background.
I have been drawing all my life. My process evolved by being a working mom, ten minutes here and twenty minutes there. That was my artistic process. I am a retired educator. I travel the art shows and they are a lot of fun. I enjoy meeting people and talking about my art. It is amazing the connections you make. I think you should get a reaction from art, whether positive or negative.
